Mitchell Scholars on Hand as US Congress Honors John Hume

In February, Senator Kennedy hosted a reception for his colleagues on Capitol Hill to pay tribute to John Hume's decades of service as John is about to retire from public service. Mitchell Scholars and alums local to the DC area were invited to attend. The US-Ireland Alliance is honored to have John Hume on our Honorary Board and we hope that John and Pat enjoy a richly deserved retirement!
