• As a Mitchell Scholar, Georgia completed a Master’s degree in Political Communications and Public Affairs at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.

• She currently serves as the Executive Director of Our House, a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, job training and childcare to the homeless.

• Georgia has increased the organization's revenues by 33%, doubled the number of people served, and orchestrated volunteer projects involving over 1000 people.

• She was nominated for the Arkansas Business "Nonprofit Executive of the Year" award.

• Georgia is also a community faculty member at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, her alma mater, and is a guest lecturer at the Clinton School of Public Service.
