Garrett Kelleher - Advisory Board
Garrett Kelleher is the non-executive director of Lightstream Pictures. Lightstream’s MAX ROSE, starring Jerry Lewis, is currently in post-production. The company also recently released RAMPART with Woody Harrelson. Lightstream will soon produce a biopic on Eileen Gray, one of the most important furniture designers and architects of the last century.
Garrett Kelleher was born in Ireland. Having first gone to the US on a tennis scholarship, Garret returned in 1985, settled in Chicago where he remained for 11 years, owning and running a contracting and development business there, employing more 120 people, primarily involved in loft conversion. He returned to Dublin in 1996 and created Shelbourne Development, which focused primarily on core Dublin projects - redeveloping urban brownfield sites. Before the 2008 economic crash, Shelbourne was active in the London, Paris and Brussels. With properties in NAMA, Garrett continues to reside in Ireland where he is cooperating with NAMA. Kelleher is a large shareholder in Dolmen Securities.
In 2007, he acquired St. Patrick’s Athletic FC and is passionate about nurturing local talent in Inchicore. At the request of Mayor Daley, Garrett was involved with the Chicago’s 2016 bid for the Olympics. He is also on the board of regents of Ave Maria University.
